isc-dhcp-server software package provides ISC DHCP server for automatic IP address assignment, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install isc-dhcp-server
isc-dhcp-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the isc-dhcp-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep isc-dhcp-server *
You will get with isc-dhcp-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
